Sturgis Bike Park for biking, skateboarding, scooters - and kids to adults.

Sturgis Bike Park

Pump tracks, dirt jumps, and a skills park for all ages — free riding in the heart of Sturgis.

About

Built by the community and constructed by the same company that built Olympic BMX tracks for three consecutive Summer Olympics, the Sturgis Bike Park is one of the best free riding facilities in the Black Hills — and it welcomes bikes, scooters, and skateboards alike. The park features paved pump tracks, a skills park, and dirt jumps designed to serve everyone from young kids on their first wheels to experienced riders chasing technical challenges. The pump tracks are designed so riders can maneuver with minimal pedaling, while the North Shore-style skills park includes drops, wall rides, skinny lines, and jumps. On a busy summer day you'll find 40 to 50 riders out there — kids, parents, all ages and skill levels. A dirt trail above the park winds through the hillside and offers views of the football field below, a nice bonus for anyone who wants a breather between runs. Located next to Howard Woodle Field and the soccer complex. The park is closed in bad weather or when it's raining. Free to use from dawn to dusk.
