Spearfish Skate Park

Spearfish's 8,800 square foot concrete skate park is one of the largest free skating facilities in the northern Black Hills, located near the Spearfish Rec Center and easily accessible by car or bike. The park features a variety of terrain and obstacles including quarter pipes, banks, rails, and a bowl, making it suitable for skateboarders, inline skaters, and BMX riders of all skill levels. Beginner-friendly sections sit alongside more technical features, so first-timers and experienced riders can both find their footing. Lights are available for night skating and a shaded area provides a spot to rest between sessions. The park is free, open daily from dawn until dusk, and maintained by the City of Spearfish.
