Lions Club Park
About
One of Sturgis's most beloved green spaces, Lions Club Park sits on the northeast side of town along Lazelle Street and offers far more than a typical city park.
The park features a pond popular for fishing, a playground, and a large gazebo that anchors the space and serves as a natural gathering point. The Lions Club Gazebo seats about 90 people at 15 tables and includes electricity, a sink, water, restrooms, a refrigerator, and small charcoal grills — making it one of the best reservable event spaces in the city.
For the more adventurous, Lions Club Park doubles as a trailhead. The Lions Park Trailhead provides access to the 7th Cavalry Trail System, a network of trails for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and horseback riding, with routes connecting to the Fort Meade Trailhead and views of Sturgis and Bear Butte along the way.
Whether you're here to fish, picnic, hit the trails, or host a gathering, Lions Club Park delivers.
