Lakota Lake

Lakota Lake is a quiet and scenic lake located along Highway 87 in Custer State Park, just 15 minutes from Custer and about 30 minutes from Hill City in the southern Black Hills. Surrounded by rolling hills, pine forest, and open prairie, it offers a peaceful setting away from busier park areas. Lakota Lake is popular for fishing, especially for trout, as well as kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding.
