Standing life-sized on Main Street, Iron Star is a sculpture that stops you in your tracks. Created by South Dakota artist John Lopez, this striking metal stallion is built entirely from scrap farm and ranch materials — hand tools, shovels, chains, files, barbed wire, and truck shocks all shaped and welded into the graceful curves of a horse.
