Located along 7th Avenue, Heritage Park is centered around a free splash pad that runs all summer long, providing a fun and safe environment for children to cool off and burn off energy. To activate the splash pad, simply place your palm over the silver button inside the fire hydrant — no pressure needed, just a gentle touch — and the water runs on a timer. Seasonal hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It's a small park with a clear purpose, and it does that purpose very well. Perfect for a midday break when the sun is high and the kids need to move.
