The Ditch Creek Trail System features approximately 100 miles of designated motorized trails in the northern Black Hills near Rochford. This expansive network is open to ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles, offering a mix of easy to moderate terrain that winds through pine forests and pockets of aspen, especially vibrant in the fall. Riders will find a variety of trail types, from smoother stretches to more rugged segments, making it a versatile option for different skill levels.
Access points are spread throughout the area, with common entry via Forest Road 231 near Rochford. The system is typically open seasonally from mid-May through mid-December, depending on weather and trail conditions. There are no developed facilities, so visitors should plan ahead.
