Butler Park
About
Hot Springs' largest park, Butler Park is a go-to spot for families and active visitors, featuring baseball, pickleball courts, soccer fields, a skate park, playground, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, and two picnic shelters.
The park also offers outdoor grills, picnic tables, a concession building, and long walking paths, making it an easy place to spend a few relaxed hours. The Hot Springs Public Library sits just south of the park on Library Drive, a convenient bonus for families traveling with kids.
Butler Park won't compete with the Black Hills' big-ticket attractions, but it's the kind of place locals love. It's wide-open, well-kept green space where you can stretch your legs, let the kids burn off energy, or enjoy a picnic before heading out to explore the rest of Hot Springs.
