Frank R. Brady Memorial Park is one of the oldest parks in Spearfish, situated along North Meier Avenue near Spearfish Creek and the city's popular recreation path. Spearfish It's a welcoming green space at the heart of the community, beloved by locals and visitors alike.
The park features open green space, a fountain, and playground equipment, making it a natural gathering spot for families. It also serves as a gateway to the Spearfish recreation path, a 7.5-mile trail system that winds along Spearfish Creek, connecting several parks throughout town and offering easy access for walking, running, and cycling.
Each Saturday morning throughout the summer, Brady Park hosts the Spearfish Farmers Market, featuring fresh, locally grown produce and artisan crafts from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Vendors offer baked goods, produce, art, body care, pottery, jewelry, and more — all from local small businesses.
The park is also the finish line for the Sundance to Spearfish Marathon, an annual race that descends through the scenic Black Hills.
