Bluebird Motorized Trailhead

Bluebird Motorized Trailhead is located in the northern Black Hills near Nemo, South Dakota, within Black Hills National Forest. This trailhead provides access to a network of designated motorized trails open to vehicles 62 inches wide or less. Riders can explore approximately 52 miles of scenic loop trails that wind through forested hills, open meadows, and classic Black Hills terrain. The trailhead serves as a day-use access point and connects to a well-established OHV system popular for off-road recreation. A parking area is available and suitable for trucks and trailers, making it convenient for hauling vehicles. A motorized trail permit is required, and trail information is posted on site. Bluebird Motorized Trailhead is a key starting point for exploring one of the more extensive motorized trail networks in the northern Black Hills.
